I would add that people seem to not understand the reasons for this move by the Australian government as it will do very little to stop the acts of which Conroy speaks, firstly they are losing control of TV and other information channels like papers ..as it quickly moves on-line, which has been a source of dumbing down our society for a very long time.

Secondly this is test law for other western countries who are awaiting the results of its implementation here.. (for the good of the people) it is terrifying to most so called “Democratic” countries that a free and open source of information would be allowed to continue without restriction, after all who is going to tell the people what they should and should not know .

So here’s hoping your kids grow up in a freer society with more control and influence to change their own world, like having a more just and accountable political system and a more informed and civil society.
